Dr. Gerhard Rimpler sieht in diesem Programm eine weitere Bestätigung für die Zukunftsfähigkeit der PV-Technologie. „Eigentlich bräuchte Photovoltaik keine staatliche Bezuschussung, weil die ausgereifte Technik auch ohne Subventionierung für eine effiziente und wirtschaftliche Energiegewinnung sorgt. Solche Programme fokussieren aber die Aufmerksamkeit innerhalb der erneuerbaren Energien auf die Photovoltaik und sind deshalb ungemein wichtig für den weiteren Ausbau.“
