New Compatibility Partner: Solis

Inverters from Solis are now also compatible with the solar-electric solutions from my-PV!

Founded in 2005, Ginlong (Solis) is today one of the largest PV inverter manufacturers worldwide, renowned for its advanced string technology, highest reliability, and internationally certified quality standards. The portfolio ranges from single-phase and three-phase string inverters to modern hybrid and storage solutions – always aiming to make solar energy integration as simple and economical as possible.

Solis products offer innovative solutions for private, commercial, and industrial customers, creating added value across the entire value chain.

Compatibility with my-PV

With the new compatibility of my-PV products, the AC•THOR, AC•THOR 9s (from firmware a0022002), and AC ELWA 2 (from firmware e0002200) can now be connected to Solis inverters. This provides an even more efficient way to utilize excess PV electricity. Communication is via Modbus RTU, ensuring that only surplus PV energy is used for heating purposes. This allows users to intelligently control their excess PV power for hot water production, heating systems with buffer tanks, or other electric heating types in the household, maximizing the benefit of their solar energy.

Instructions for the correct installation and configuration of my-PV products with Solis inverters can be found here.
