Customer Statement

"We charge our 1,000-liter buffer tank using surplus electricity from our own production thanks to the AC•THOR 9s. In summer, this allows us to completely turn off the pellet boiler, which in turn extends its lifespan. The goal was to fully utilize the buffer tank's volume. The photovoltaic heat should therefore be introduced without the usual heating rods and with optimal thermal stratification. To achieve this, an electrothermal hydraulic unit from Tuxhorn was used, which regulates the buffer charging through a speed-controlled pump and an integrated temperature differential logic. For precise power modulation of the electric heat generators inside, the AC•THOR 9s from my-PV is used. Only this makes electric heat generators suitable for using surplus solar power, as the available yield surplus is, of course, constantly changing," summarizes planner Bruno Kriener.
