Spain's photovoltaic crisis solved

But in recent years, renewable energies have been the subject of a huge political upheaval. As a result, promised premiums were suddenly and retroactively cancelled. Many companies and investors sued the state. Now Spain is trying to repair the damage.

According to the decree, the state guarantees plant operators who withdraw their complaints by 30 September 2020 or waive already awarded compensation a profitability of 7.389 percent annually until 2032.
